Lenoir-Rhyne Men’s Swimming Rank First in GPA, Women Fifth

The Lenoir-Rhyne men’s swimming team posted the highest team grade point average in NCAA Division II as announced by the College Swimming & Diving Association of America and the women ranked fifth.

The men posted a team GPA of 3.58 and finished ahead of Florida Southern who had a 3.54 mark. The men join Stanford (Division 1) and Caltech (Division 3) as the top team GPAs in the nation.

On the women’s side, LR boasts a 3.75 team GPA which is tied for fifth in Division II.

LR also recorded two CSC Academic All-Americans as Micah McRea and Lisa Boernigen earned the honors.
