Lenoir-Rhyne Men’s Lacrosse Announces 2024 Schedule

Coming off a National Championship in 2023, the Lenoir-Rhyne Men’s Lacrosse team has announced its 2024 schedule. The Bears will begin the 14th season in program history on February 3.

The Bears open up the campaign at home against Barton on February 3 to kick off the 2024 season. The Bears have never played Barton in program history and are one of two straight Conference Carolinas foes for LR to open the slate.

The first road game of the year comes on Thursday, February 8 when LR hits the road to take on Belmont Abbey. This will be the ninth straight year the two regional rivals square off. The Bears will then play three straight NCAA Tournament teams from a season ago, starting with UIndy at Moretz Stadium on Feb. 11. LR and Tampa will meet in Savannah, Ga. for the third straight season with this year’s clash coming on Feb. 17. LR rounds out the stretch with Adelphi coming to town on Feb. 24 as the non-conference schedule will be one of the most grueling in all of Division II.

League play opens at home against Anderson on March 2 and then LR will travel to rival Limestone the following Saturday. The other key league game is on March 23 at Wingate.

The home regular season finale is April 13 against Coker and the regular season wraps up at Catawba on April 17. The SAC Tournament is April 20-28 with the NCAA Tournament starting on May 8.
