Lenoir-Rhyne Men’s Golf Earns A Pair of All-Conference Nods

The South Atlantic Conference named their 2023-24 All-SAC team and Sean Finan was selected to the First-Team All-SAC while Samuel Mace was named to the Third-Team All-SAC. Finan is the first Bear named to the first team since 2021 when Liam Waldron was selected.

Finan had four top-10 finishes this season including a win at the LR Fall Invitational. Finan won the event by four strokes as he finished the event with back to back rounds under 70. Finan also had a runner-up in the season opener at the Bearcat Fall Invitational. Finan had a 71.5 scoring average this season and has seven career rounds under 70 including a career best 67 in the opening round of the Spring Kick-off this season.

Mace had three top 10’s this past fall and had a 71.6 scoring average. Mace had a career best round of 68 in the second round of the Cateechee Invitational this past fall. Mace has five career top-10’s and five career rounds under 70.

The Bears will be heading to Newberry, S.C. for the SAC Championship starting on Sunday.
