Lenoir-Rhyne football earned a 23rd rank in the preseason D2Football.com Rankings. The Bears are one of two South Atlantic Conference schools in the top 25 of the D2Football.com polls. Wingate is ranked 18th.

Last week, Lenoir-Rhyne was ranked 25th in the American Football Coaches Association Preseason Top 25 poll. Wingate was also ranked in that poll at 21, while Newberry gave the South Atlantic Conference three spots in that poll, with a 24th rank.

The Bears kick off the season on Saturday, September 2. LR will host St. Augustine’s at 6pm at Moretz Stadium.
