51-year-old James Edgar Roberts of Pigtail Road in Lenoir was arrested Wednesday (April 19) by Probation and Parole Officers. He was charged with two felony probation violations and jailed under $60,000 secured bond. Roberts remains in jail as of earlier this morning with a Superior Court appearance scheduled for June 26. He was on probation as a result of a conviction in April 2019 in Caldwell County on felony assault and drug charges. Roberts received probation and a 60-month suspended sentence.
