50-year-old Robert Nelson Brooks of Martin Place in Lenoir was arrested Saturday (September 16) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He was charged with felony indecent liberties with a child and felony failure to register as a sex offender. Brooks remains jailed in the Caldwell County Detention Facility as of this morning under $500,000 secured bond. A District Court appearance was scheduled for today (September 18).
