37-year-old Darrell Anthony Stevens of Frontier Way in Lenoir was arrested Tuesday (May 16) by Probation and Parole Officers. He was charged with one felony count of probation violation and jailed under $20,000 secured bond. Stevens remains in jail as of this morning with no court date listed.

He was on probation as a result of conviction in Alleghany County in 2021 for felony possession of schedule two controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Stevens received probation and a 14 month suspended sentence.
