31-year-old Roger Scott Mckiver of Lutz Street in Lenoir was arrested Wednesday (September 6) by Lenoir Police Officers. He was charged with two counts of felony breaking and entering and felony larceny after breaking and entering. In addition, he was charged with nine misdemeanors: failure to appear, resisting, delaying, or obstruct a public officer, assault on a government official, injury to personal property, simple assault, assault on a female, driving while license revoked, possession of schedule two controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mckiver remains in jail as of this morning under $138,500 secured bond with a District Court appearance scheduled for today (September 7).
