62-year-old Roy Ulbert Cook of Lenoir was arrested Friday (July 7) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He was charged with felony failure to comply with the sex offender registration law and felony interfering with an electronic monitoring device. In addition, he was charged with misdemeanor violating a house arrest order and jailed under no bond and $55,000 secured bond. Cook remains in jail as of this morning with a District Court date scheduled for August 14.
