35-year-old Brandon Scott Harris of Oak Street in Lenoir was arrested Friday (January 27) by Granite Falls Police Officers. He was charged with two counts of felony probation violation and jailed under a $60,000 secured bond. Harris remains in jail as of this morning with a District Court appearance scheduled for January 30. He was on probation as a result of a conviction in November 2022 in Caldwell County for possession of a weapon of mass destruction, receiving a stolen vehicle, and larceny. He received a 24-month suspended sentence.
