21-year-old Dalton Joseph Gragg of Old Morganton Road in Lenoir was arrested Wednesday (October 25) by Burke County Sheriff’s Officers. According to the North Carolina Judicial Branch website, he’s charged in Burke County with felony possession of schedule I controlled substance. Gragg is also charged in Caldwell County with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and harassing phone call. WHKY reported on Gragg’s Caldwell County arrest on October 12.

Gragg was arrested just after midnight Wednesday morning at an address on U.S. 70 in Connelly Springs. He was brought to the Burke County Jail where he was confined under $20,000 secured bond. Gragg remained in jail as of earlier today (October 26). A Burke County District Court date is scheduled for November 13. Caldwell County District Court appearances are set for November 2 and November 8.
