42-year-old Carey James Caldwell, Jr. of Virginia Street in Lenoir was arrested Tuesday (June 23) by Lenoir Police Officers. He’s charged with felony attempt to obtain property by false pretense and misdemeanor larceny. Caldwell was incarcerated in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $3,000 secured bond. A July 9 court date is scheduled in Lenoir.
