36-year-old Elliot Patrick Cox of Highway 268 in Lenoir was arrested Friday (January 20) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He was charged with felony obtaining property by false pretense, felony larceny, and a misdemeanor count of resisting a public officer with a $21,000 secured bond. cox is not listed in jail as of this morning and a District Court date was scheduled for January 23.
