38-year-old Michael Allan Thompson of Hospital Avenue in Lenoir was arrested Friday (July 7) by Lenoir Police Officers. He was charged with one felony count probation violation and jailed under $40,000 secured bond. Thompson remains in jail as of this morning with a Superior Court date scheduled for August 7. He was on probation as a result of convictions in Caldwell County for felony breaking and entering. Thompson received probation and a 24-month suspended sentence.
