44-year-old Steve Carlton Dyer of Legion Road in Lenoir was arrested Thursday (August 24) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He was charged with one felony count obtaining property by false pretense and jailed in the Caldwell County Detention Facility under $3,000 secured bond. Dyer was not listed in jail as of this morning with a District Court appearance scheduled for August 28.
