20-year-old Preston Andrew Dennison of Connelly Springs Road in Lenoir was arrested Monday (May 1) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He was charged with misdemeanor assault by pointing a gun, misdemeanor communicating threats, and felony possession of a stolen firearm. Dennison remains in jail as of this morning with a $5,000 secured bond and two District Court appearance scheduled for May 3 and May 24.
