Lenoir Man Charged with Assault, Burglary, Larceny, & Failure to Appear

44-year-old Johnny Oscar Hawkins, Jr. of Hayes Place in Lenoir has been arrested by Lenoir Police on charges of habitual misdemeanor assault, first-degree burglary, injury to personal property, assault on a female, and felony larceny. He was also charged with multiple counts of failure to appear. Hawkins reportedly failed to appear in court on counts of habitual larceny (three counts), obtaining property by false pretenses (two counts), and habitual felon (two counts).

Hawkins was jailed today (October 20) in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $10,007 bond. He’ll appear in District Court Monday (October 23) with a Superior Court date on the failure to appear charges coming up on December 4.
