43-year-old William Lewis Barnwell of Louise Place in Lenoir was arrested by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers yesterday (November 1) for felony possession of methamphetamine. He was also charged with failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor nonsupport charge. Following his arrest, Barnwell was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center with bond set at $5,000, secured, plus an $881 cash bond. He’ll make a first appearance in District Court tomorrow in Lenoir.
