32-year-old Joseph Scott Bolick, Jr. of Calico Road in Lenoir was arrested by Hickory Police Saturday afternoon (August 12) on one felony count of possession of heroin and one misdemeanor court of indecent exposure. He was taken into custody without incident at 3:50 p.m. Saturday at an address on Highway 70 S.E. in Hickory. Bolick was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under an $18,000 secured bond. He remained in jail as of this afternoon (August 16). A first appearance in District Court was scheduled this past Monday (August 14) in Newton with another court date coming up on September 5.
