22-year-old Daniel Reid Hoy of Collettsville Road in Lenoir was arrested Tuesday (December 3) by Probation and Parole Officers. He was charged with a felony probation violation and was placed with a $20,000 secured bond. Hoy was on probation as a result of a conviction in November 2020 in Caldwell County for felony receiving a stolen vehicle. He received probation and a 24-month suspended sentence. As of this morning he remains in jail with a Superior Court appearance scheduled for February 6.
