Lenoir Man Arrested for Electronic House Arrest Violation

63-year-old Larry Gene Hibbs of Arrowood Street in Lenoir was arrested by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers yesterday (October 21) for an electronic house arrest violation involving a failed drug test. In May of this year, Hibbs was arrested on felony drug and firearms charges after methamphetamine, heroin, crack cocaine, and 20 guns were found at his home, which is near Hibriten High School

Following his arrest Thursday, Hibbs was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center with bond set at $150,000, secured. No court date is currently listed.
