LENOIR, N.C. (WHKY) – A 46-year-old Lenoir man has been arrested on a charge of failing to comply with North Carolina sex offender registration requirements. Dale Ray Turner, of Connelly Springs Road in Lenoir, was charged with failing to comply with sex offender registration and online identifier registration, according to the arrest record.

Turner is on the sex offender registry as a result of a pair of convictions. He was convicted in 2010 in New Castle, Delaware of fourth-degree rape of a victim less than 16-years-old. In 2013 Turner was convicted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania of indecent assault, sex offense against a child. He was taken into custody by the Lenoir Police Department and was being held without bond.
