L-R’s Stanley Named SAC Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

The South Atlantic Conference announced its AstroTurf Men’s Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during the fifth weekend of the 2021 season. Lenoir-Rhyne’s Connor Stanley collected the defensive honor.

A senior defender Stanley, helped the Bears lock in their first ever home win over conference opponent Limestone, beating them 16-7. The Glenelg, Md., native tied a program record of most caused turnovers in a game with five, while also adding a team-high six groundballs. Stanley helped hold the Saints to just seven goals and one in each of the final three quarters. This is Stanley’s first Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
