Emily Harman averaged finished the year averaging 14.6 points per game, 7.2 rebounds per game and 4.1 assists per game, all of which ranked in the top 10 in the conference.

L-R’s Harman Named South Atlantic Conference Player of the Week

The South Atlantic Conference announced the AstroTurf Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for games played in the final regular season week of the 2020-21 season. Lenoir-Rhyne’s Emily Harman earns this week’s Player of the Week honor.

A freshman guard Harman, helped lead the Bears to a 2-0 conference record this past weekend. She picked up 12 points, nine rebounds and nine assists versus Newberry, while garnering 29 points, eight rebounds and four assists at Queens. Harman played a total of 70 minutes and averaged 20.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game. Overall, the Chesapeake, Va., native averaged 56.5 percent from the floor, while also going 9-for-10 from the free-throw line. This is Harman’s first Player of the Week honor this season.
