The South Atlantic Conference announced its Varsity Gems Women’s Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played in the third week of the 2023 season and Lenoir-Rhyne’s Ellie Campbell was named the offensive player of the week.

Campbell, a junior midfielder from Pinehurst, N.C., led the Bears with four goals and added an assist in the 14-11 victory over Montevallo. She piled up five points, one ground ball, a draw control, and a caused turnover.

Campbell and the Bears return to action on Wednesday when they host Roberts Wesleyan at 5 p.m.
