L-R Men’s Tennis Wins Third In A Row

The Lenoir-Rhyne Men’s Tennis team won their third straight match beating Lincoln Memorial 7-0 Wednesday afternoon.

On the doubles side, LR was dominant as Mauricio Hernandez/ Nicolas Moser defeated Cooper/Bailey 6-1. Rhodri Atkinson/Josh Lazenby made quick work of Turner/Pavan 6-2. Lewis Scott/Patrik Alvestrand closed things out claimed the doubles point for the Bears (1-0).

Atkinson led things off in singles beating Hermans 6-1, 6-1 to go up (2-0). Scott then continued the hot start for LR by defeating Turner 6-2, 6-2 (3-0). Lazenby then secure the match by defeating Bailey 6-1, 6-1 to go up (4-0). The Bears would then win three consectuive matches to complete the sweep over LMU (7-0).

The Bears improve to 4-3, 3-1 SAC play on the season and will be back in action Friday March 12 against Catawba at home.
