L-R Football Hires Orlosky To Coach Offensive Line
The Lenoir-Rhyne football team has announced the hiring of Tyler Orlosky as the next offensive line coach of the program.
The former All-American joins the Bears after his successful run as the Associate Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator/O-Line Coach for Ohio Dominican University.
“We are excited to have coach Orlosky join the LR football staff,” said Head Coach Mike Jacobs. “The offensive line is arguably the most challenging group to coach, and we feel he is the perfect fit for our program.”
Some of the accolades that Orlosky achieved with the Panthers include coaching 10 All-Conference lineman in addition to mentoring Ty Keirns, who was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Offensive Lineman of the Year.
Having been the starting center for West Virginia University in his playing days, Orlosky began his coaching career as a Graduate Assistant with the Mountaineers, where he spent three seasons in the program completing two masters’ degrees.
“Lenoir-Rhyne has had a rich tradition in football, and especially in the last decade, a tradition of championship football,” said coach Tyler Orlosky. “I’m excited to be apart of an university and football program that is dedicated to both athletic and academic achievement.”
Briefly after his time as a player in Morgantown, Orlosky spent the 2017 offseason with the Philadelphia Eagles on their pre-season roster after being selected as an undrafted free agent.
