The Kool Park Pool has been broken into and vandalized for a second time in the last two weeks. The staff is asking the community for help.

Anyone with information that could lead to the conviction of the person or persons responsible should contact the owner, Gaylene Carpenter, at 828-661-1439 or call the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office at 828-464-5241. Management is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to a conviction. The public swimming pool is located at 3170 31st Avenue Court N.E. in Hickory.
