35-year-old Brian Jeremy Corpening of Broadland Road in Lenoir was arrested Sunday (June 21) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with second-degree kidnapping. Corpening was jailed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under no bond. His first court appearance was scheduled Monday (June 22). The next court date is set for July 8.
