STATESVILLE, N.C. (WHKY) — An Iredell County traffic stop led deputies to seize approximately 152 pounds of marijuana and marijuana products, along with a loaded handgun, ecstasy pills and more than $5,000 in cash.

According to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office, the stop was conducted September 16 on Harmony Highway in northern Iredell County. The driver was identified as 44-year-old Clarence Edgar Winslow of Charlotte.

During a search of the vehicle, deputies reported finding a loaded concealed handgun inside a backpack, multiple ecstasy pills, an open container of alcohol, more than $5,000 in cash and several vacuum-sealed packages containing marijuana.

Deputies said they later found boxes containing approximately 150 pounds of marijuana and another 2.74 pounds of marijuana wax.
