Iredell County Sex Offender Arrested, Woman Charged

IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. (WHKY) – The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a registered sex offender and charged a woman with failing to report his alleged registration violations.

According to Sheriff Darren Campbell, an anonymous complaint on September 3rd alleged that Jimmy Guzman was living at a Mooresville residence instead of his registered address in Kannapolis.

Detective Sanford with the Special Victims Unit investigated and determined Guzman was residing in Mooresville and was not complying with sex offender registration requirements. Investigators also determined he had been at several locations where registered sex offenders are prohibited from being.
