STATESVILLE, N.C. (WHKY) — The Iredell County Board of Elections met Tuesday night to finalize the county’s Early Voting Plan for the November 3 General Election.

Under the proposed plan, early voting would run from October 15 through October 31 at five locations across the county: the Board of Elections Office, the War Memorial Building, Lake Norman Fire Department, Harmony American Legion, and the ISS CATS Building.

Polls would be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. Voters would also have two Saturday voting opportunities on October 24 and October 31 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Election officials say the plan is designed to prepare for what is expected to be a busy fall election season. The early voting schedule will become official once the approval process is complete.
