Inoa Earns South Atlantic League Player of the Week Honors

Hickory Crawdads infielder Cristian Inoa led the league in hits and runs and as a result, has been named the South Atlantic League Player of the Week for games played last week.

Overall, the 23-year old batted .600 with 12 hits, three home runs and six RBI. He scored 12 runs, collected 22 total bases and had on base percentage last week of .652.

His first two games last week against the Rome Braves helped propel him for his monster week. Tuesday, July 26, he hit two-for-four with two runs scored, a double and a solo home run.

The next night, Wednesday, July 27, he went four-for-five batting with three runs scored. He collected at least one hit and one run scored in each game of the series for the Crawdads against the Braves.
