36-year-old Melvin Bryant Ellis Jr and 42-year-old Addie Kay Thomas Ellis both of Nuway Circle in Lenoir were arrested Friday (April 21) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. The Husband and Wife were both charged with felony possession of cocaine and felony maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substance. 36-year-old Melvin Bryant Ellis Jr remains in jail as of this morning with a District Court date scheduled for April 24. 42-year-old Addie Kay Thomas Ellis was not listed in jail at the Caldwell County Detention Center with a District Court appearance scheduled for April 24.
