32-year-old Joshua James Severt of Freezer Locker Road in Hudson was arrested by Lenoir Police yesterday (April 26) on felony counts of trafficking in opium or heroin and possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver schedule I & II controlled substances. Following his arrest, Severt was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $200,000 secured bond. A first appearance in District Court is coming up tomorrow in Lenoir.
