63-year-old Joel Nickolas Baker of Freezer Locker Road in Hudson was arrested Monday (August 14) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He was charged with six felonies: trafficking in methamphetamine, two counts maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver schedule two controlled substance, and two counts of possession of schedule two controlled substance.

In addition, Baker was charged with two misdemeanor counts possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession or consumption of unauthorized fortified wine, liquor, or mixed beverage. He was jailed under $150,000 secured bond and a District Court appearance was scheduled for August 14.
