60-year-old Darrell Eugene Haas of Hudson Cajah Mountain Road in Hudson was arrested Wednesday (August 30) by Lenoir Police Officers. He was charged with four felonies: possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver schedule one controlled substance, trafficking in heroin or opium, maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for controlled substance, and possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver schedule four controlled substance. Haas was jailed in the Caldwell County Detention Facility under $100,000 secured bond. He was not listed in jail as of this morning with a District Court date scheduled for today (August 31).
