33-year-old John Luke McDaris of Gilliland Lane in Hudson was arrested Tuesday (March 14) by Probation and Parole Officers. He was charged with one count felony probation violation and received a $15,000 secured bond. McDaris remains in jail as of this morning with a Superior Court date scheduled for May 8. He was on probation as a result of a conviction in Catawba County in April 2020 for felony possession of schedule two controlled substance. McDaris received probation and a suspended sentence.
