44-year-old Kenneth Earl Sutton of Gatewood Drive in Hudson was arrested Wednesday (January 4) by Probation and Parole Officers. He was charged with felony probation violation and received a $150,000 secured bond. Sutton was on probation as a result of a conviction in Alleghany County in December 2021 for possession of a firearm by a felon and possession with intent to sell and deliver counterfeit controlled substance; he received probation and an 18-month suspended sentence. He remains in jail as of this morning with a Superior Court date scheduled for February 6.
