49-year-old David Eugene Wayne Snider, who is listed as a homeless person from Hickory, was arrested early Monday morning (February 27) by Hickory Police on felony warrants from Henderson and Jackson counties. He was charged with uttering a forged instrument and obtaining property by false pretenses.

Snider was taken into custody at about 3:45 a.m. Monday on Union Square in downtown Hickory. He was jailed in the Catawba County Detention facility under a $15,000 secured bond. A District Court date in Hendersonville was scheduled yesterday (March 1). An appearance in a Jackson County courtroom is coming up on March 13.
