The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office is investigating what they’re calling a home invasion in eastern Alexander County. According to a news release issued by Sheriff Chad Pennell, Deputies were called to a residence on Springfield Drive at approximately 3:10 a.m. Thursday (February 2) in reference to a vehicle breaking and entering.

The investigation shows that four juveniles went to the residence on with a firearm and items were stolen from both the home and a vehicle. This occurred while the owners were at home. The juveniles have been charged with first-degree burglary, and armed robbery. Additional juvenile petitions will be filed in the case. The investigation is continuing.

Sheriff Pennell said Thursday afternoon that there were no injuries and there were multiple people in the home at the time of incident.
