31-year-old Lawrence Christopher Ikerd of Riverside Farm Lane in Hiddenite has been arrested by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers on two counts of obtaining property by false pretenses and one count of larceny by employee. Lawrence was jailed yesterday (April 9) in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $22,500 bond. He’ll appear in District Court today (April 10) and again on Wednesday (April 12) in Newton.
