30-year-old Emily Brooke Mingus of 31st Street Court NE in Hickory was arrested Saturday (November 26) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. She’s charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and non-support of a child. Mingus was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $3,500 bond. A District Court date on the drug charges was scheduled today (November 28). A Civil District Court appearance on the non-support charge is set for this Thursday (December 1).
