31-year-old Mikisha Geneva Robinson of 3rd Street Place SW in Hickory was arrested by Morganton Public Safety Officers. She’s charged with felony counts of possession of schedule I controlled substance (heroin), possession of schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of schedule VI controlled substance.
Robinson is also charged with misdemeanor counts of simple possession of schedule IV and V controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia along with counts of driving while impaired and driving while license revoked.
The suspect was arrested Tuesday (November 21) at a restaurant on South Sterling Street in Morganton. During the investigation police seized one gram of heroin and 3.25 dosage units of what are listed as other drugs. The police report also shows that one-half gram of methamphetamine was lost during the investigation.
Robinson was initially confined in the Burke County Jail under no bond on a 48 hour hold. As of earlier today (November 27), she was being held under $20,000 secured bond. A District Court date is scheduled for December 11.
