33-year-old Brittany Shawntara Mayfield of 6th Avenue SW in Hickory was arrested Tuesday (January 31) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. She’s charged with failure to appear on counts including felony larceny and felony probation violation.

Mayfield is on probation as a result of a conviction in Catawba County in September, 2022 on misdemeanor counts of assault on an officer and resisting an officer. She received probation and an 18 month suspended sentence.

Mayfield was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $150,000 bond. A District Court appearance was scheduled today (February 1).
