46-year-old Angela Hope Bennett of Lenoir-Rhyne Boulevard in Hickory was arrested last Thursday (September 7) by Hickory Police Officers. She’s charged with possession of methamphetamine. Bennett is also charged with failure to appear on multiple traffic counts including reckless driving with wanton disregard, driving while license revoked, and expired or no inspection. Bennett was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $12,000 bond. She remained in jail as of earlier today (September 12). District Court dates are scheduled for September 28 and September 29.
