53-year-old Consandra Jean McCowin of 2nd Avenue SE in Hickory was arrested Thursday (August 13) by Hickory Police Officers. She’s charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting a public officer, driving while impaired, and open container of alcohol violation. McCowin was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $1,500 bond. District Court dates were scheduled for August 14 and August 31.
