26-year-old Brooke Kendal Williams of South N.C. Highway 127 in Hickory has been arrested by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers on charges of cruelty to animals and failure to appear on a charge of financial card fraud. The financial card fraud charge dates back to 2020. Following her arrest, Williams was jailed today (September 25) in the Catawba County Detention Facility with bond set at $9,000. A District Court date on the animal cruelty charge is coming up on October 9 with a Superior Court appearance on the financial card fraud charge scheduled for October 11.
