39-year-old April Brooks Terry of 14th Avenue SE in Hickory was arrested Friday (March 17) on charges filed by the Maiden and Newton Police Departments. Maiden Police charged Terry with felony larceny, possession of stolen goods, breaking & entering, possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor child abuse. Newton Police charged her with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance.

Terry was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $15,000 bond. She remained in jail as of earlier today (March 20). A District Court appearance was scheduled today.
