29-year-old Tyana Samantha Bowens of 1st Street SE in Hickory was arrested Sunday (July 9) by Hickory Police Officers. She’s charged with felony larceny. Bowens is also charged with failure to appear on counts including possession of controlled substance on prison or jail premises, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, and possession of methamphetamine. Bowens was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $15,000 bond. District Court dates are scheduled for July 19 and July 31.
